Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY - This position is a Work at Home opportunity.
We are building an exciting new clinical and member experience program at Aetna. Aetna Community Care is a member centric, team-delivered, community-based care management model that joins members where they are. The Strategic Planner, reporting to the Director of Business Consultation, is part of a core team that delivers project and program services for Aetna Community Care while also leading expansion and implementation at the market level. The Strategic Planner must be innovative and not afraid to challenge existing ways of working to continuously improve and enhance our care model and care delivery mechanisms, particularly in the area of talent acquisition and onboarding.
Fundamental Components:
Leads the business side of talent acquisition, driving and guiding engagement from key influencers using a disciplined and repeatable methodology for hiring and onboarding across expansions
Provides thought leadership in support of business direction
Works closely with Aetna Community Care operations and clinical leadership teams to effectively managing associate growth across current and expansion markets
Designs, develops, and facilitates work sessions to deliver project and program initiatives, focused on talent acquisition work, including required analysis, reporting, and presentation materials with a focus on providing this detail at the market level for each growth intiative.
Identifies gaps in success for expansion projects and challenges self and others to develop and implement solutions
Drives or guides development of holistic solutions and/or key strategic plans; proactively identifies opportunities for improvement and influences others to align
Demonstrates proficiency managing email in an Outlook account, and using remote communication software such as Skype and WebEx; able to demonstrate proficiency with Word, Excel, and experience documenting within an electronic health record
3 years of experience in care management or healthcare operations preferred
2 years of talent acquisition experience preferred either as a hiring manager or a recruiter
RN, SW, or other clinical licensure or experience hiring clinical staff preferred
Experience utilizing analytical, problem solving, and communications skills
Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization
Ability to innovate and ideate solutions to operational challenges
Strong technical skills and proficiency in the utilization of standard MS Office products including MS Visio, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
The minimum level of education required for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree, noted clinical licensure, or equivalent experience in a closely-related field
The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Telework Specifications:
Location states Florida Home based, but can be located within the Central or Eastern Time Zone.
Ability to travel significantly (approximately 25% in 2019, with a decrease after 2019). The minimum level of education required for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree, noted clinical licensure, or equivalent experience in a closely-related field. A Master's degree is preferred.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
